Smooth Skin Is Closer Than You Think
Many have tried every single trick in the book to reduce the appearance of cellulite, to no avail. A common misconception about cellulite is that it's caused by being overweight or inactive, which is not the case at all. At Belmont Plastic Surgery, our nonsurgical injection procedure can destroy the fibrous bands that provide the foundation for cellulite dimples and allow your skin to rebound with a smooth, flawless appearance. It's called QWO Cellulite Treatment, and our patients love it! Schedule a consultation to meet with Dr. Jules Feledy or Dr. Eric Maiorino in Washington DC to see if QWO can help you have smoother skin.
Look Younger, Feel Better
QWO is an innovative and safe nonsurgical injection procedure that destroys fibrous bands in subcutaneous fat. It's called Enzymatic Subcision and Remodeling or ESR, and when it's paired with a specialized skin care program, it helps get rid of cellulite fast and keep it off! When you come to our Washington DC office, Dr. Feledy or Dr. Maiorino will take the time to listen to your concerns and develop a personalized treatment plan tailored to your individual needs.
Smooth Legs
Belmont Plastic Surgery employs cutting-edge technology to provide safer, faster, and more successful procedures. QWO utilizes an enzymatic process to dissolve the tight fibrous collagen band that is causing the skin dimpling. This allows the surrounding fat and tissues to remodel thereby improving the overall shape and contour of the treated regions. This is all done through injections so there is very minimal downtime.
Get Rid of Cellulite
Most patients diagnosed with cellulite are good candidates for QWO treatment. It doesn't matter if you're overweight or underweight; if you have signs of cellulite on your buttocks or thighs you should talk to our board-certified plastic surgeons, Dr. Feledy and Dr. Maiorino, about how QWO could help you.
Your QWO Procedure
QWO Cellulite Treatment is a non-surgical procedure that takes just 30 minutes. It utilizes two different enzymes to target and dissolve cellulite-causing fibrous bands deep in your dermis. This is performed through a series of small injections into the cellulite areas using very small needles. The total treatment is performed in a series of 3 sessions spread out approximately three weeks apart to help achieve maximal results.
Washington DC QWO patients will be instructed to minimize strenuous activity for two days after treatment. Light exercise and stretching can be done on day three, but no exercise or lifting more than 10 pounds is permitted until one week after treatment.
At that point, most people can return to normal activity levels. A warm compress can help improve circulation in legs following treatment if desired. This may help hasten recovery by helping clear away any remaining fluids and toxins from treated areas. Bruising and swelling in the treated areas is to be expected.
Boost Your Self-Esteem
After just one treatment with QWO Washington DC patients will likely see visible cellulite reduction. It may take a couple more treatments to eliminate your dimples, but you'll probably notice improvement after each treatment. This safe and effective procedure has helped countless people eliminate their unwanted cellulite over the years. The results from a single session may be visible as soon as two weeks after treatment, though it can take up to 12 weeks for complete improvement after the last treatment. The treatment is performed in a series of three treatment sessions spread at least 21 days apart. Occasionally additional sessions may be required to treat stubborn areas or address new ones.

Our treatment will feel like a series of small pinches on your skin for most people. There is no downtime, and patients can return to work or school after treatment. Side effects are rare, but when they do occur, they are generally mild and only last a few days with the most common being bruising, swelling, and soreness.
A few risks are associated with any cosmetic procedure. Potential side effects from our treatment include redness, bruising, swelling, lumpiness, and hardening of the treated area. There's also a slight chance that you might get an infection or skin discoloration after receiving your injection. You should minimize these risks by following our post-treatment instructions carefully. In most cases, however, none of these side effects will affect your daily life.
