Finally: A Nose that Fits You
Halloween is almost upon us! It’s that single day of the year when we all have permission to have out-and-out fun with our wardrobe, garbing ourselves in any number of styles, from the classical (black cat, witch, pirate) to the popular (one of the Avengers, a character from Breaking Bad, or any other popular pop culture icons) to the straight-up absurd (we’ve all seen one or two of these). We all get to put on a mask and have fun.
But the thing is, if you’re self-conscious about your appearance, then you may very well feel like you wear a mask on all the other days of the year – like you’re walking around with facial features that don’t quite belong to you.
How nice would it feel to have a nose that doesn’t feel like part of a costume? One that’s balanced from every angle that feels like your own? Nose surgery (or rhinoplasty, as it’s formally known) can give you the exquisitely balanced profile you deeply desire.
But it’s about more than just fixing the form (i.e., correcting an elongated tip, or a crooked hump, or overall size). Nose surgery can add function, too – many noses lack a bridge, making it virtually impossible to keep a pair of glasses from sliding off. Rhinoplasty is also used to correct nasal breathing problems.
Whether you’re considering nose surgery to correct form or function or both, it can help make you comfortable in your own skin, and give you a hugely important boost in self-confidence.
